Single Incision Sling (Mini Sling): Difficulty emptying bladder

Mini slings can also create an obstructive effect on the urethra making it difficult to empty the bladder. This complication occurs approximately 1% of the time after surgery. Sometimes the patient will complain of inability to empty bladder, slowing of the urination stream, or partially emptying the bladder.
