TVT Sling Complications: Mesh Erosion in Urethra
TVT sling can erode into the urethra. Patients with sling erosions into the urethra can present one or more of the following signs/symptoms.
- Burning / Pain with urination
- Blood in the urine
- Frequency of urination
- Urgency of urination
- Urination from the vagina
- Painful Intercourse
- Lower abdominal pain
- Vaginal pain
- Pelvic pain
